The Challenge

JR Law Group is a family law & divorce attorney law firm based out of Salt Lake City, UT. JR Law was started with just one attorney, Jaclyn Robertson. Since then, JR Law Group has quickly become a much larger firm with 5 attorneys or paralegals. Like most family law firms, JR Law Group stays pretty busy. When we were approached by Jaclyn in the summer of 2022 we quickly discovered that they are plenty busy. Jaclyn was looking for ways to reduce her customer acquisition cost (CAC) as other forms of marketing such as cost-per-click (CPC) ads and billboards were very expensive. Having worked with other brands within the space, we got to work immediately creating a social media marketing strategy.

Our Approach

Having worked with other brands in the space such as OurDivorce and Lesly Law, our solution to JR Law Groups customer acquisition costs (CAC) was a strong social media presence. What we’d learned from working with other law and divorce companies was that cost-per-click (CPC) ads and billboards were not only incredibly expensive for this industry, but also very saturated. Rather than following suite with every other law firm we decided to build an online presence on TikTok and expand JR Law’s presence on Instagram. In the first 6 months we created hundreds of videos offering tips and answers to common questions. Unsurprisingly Utahan’s going through a family law dispute began pouring into the comments sections looking for help. At the time of writing this JR Law Group has over 8.2K followers on TikTok and many viral videos. With this success we were able to drive traffic from the social channels to leads on the website.
